Dies ist ein schöner und sehr gut geschützter Ankerplatz am ICW am östlichen Ende von Mobile Bay. Der Kanal ist schmal, aber gut markiert und durchgehend min. 2,5 m tief. Die Flut liegt zwischen 0,4 und 0,6 m. Der Ankerplatz befindet sich in der Nähe von Nelsons Bootswerft. Anker in der Mitte des Kanals, lösche nicht zu viel Kette, es wird schnell flach.

This is a nice and very well protected anchorage at the ICW at the east end of Mobile Bay. The channel is narrow but well marked and throughout min. 2.5 m deep. Tide is between 0.4-0.6 m. The anchorage is close to Nelson’s Boat Yard. Anchor in the middle of the channel, don’t put out too much chain, it gets shallow quickly.
