Good spot to anchor in 6 m in sand to visit the Roman caves from where sandstone was mined. We left the dinghy in one of the many shallow rock pools. There are now multiple restaurants to eat at. We paid the 8 TND entry fee at the gate near the top restaurant, but it appeared that everyone else just walked in along the coast, bypassing the gate. The 2 cave areas are roped off, but everyone just went under the rope to explore inside the caves. We only visited the cave area near the coast. The small cave entrance, to the SW of the entrance gate, supposedly continues for over a Km towards the village on the hill. The fenced access rectangle holes (where they winched up the sandstone blocks) on the surface can be seen on google.
