We anchored here when the NW winds made the town quay too uncomfortable. It was still a bit rolly but better than the dock. Be sure to swim over your anchor. There are many patches that look like sand but are in fact flat and craggy rocks. Very pleasant when the wind dies down.

This was so far the most beautiful anchorage we had. Very tranquil, the ground is well holding, it‘s sand, some rocks and sea grass. The city nearby is very nice. You can get all the groceries, bank. Water is on the tall city kai (not the marina). We paid 7€ for 400 l. When you have the time, visit the old Turkish fortress.

Good holding in mud and weed, some rock. You can tuck in under a tall cliff, excellent shelter from southerly direction, protection from lightning and easy dinghy access to town with shops, bakery, post office and gas station around the town square. Medium size supermarket up the hill south of town, 1km. Not great in prevailing NW wind and W swell can work its way into this anchorage from the entrance of the bay.
