There are two options in Brightlingsea for visiting yachts. There are pontoons moored in the river where it is possible to moor by calling the harbour office on channel 68. You will need to use the water taxi, or use a dinghy to get ashore. Taxi is £1 each way per person. The Waterside marina is the other option, but access is limited by a sill, water and electricity is included. In both cases showers and toilets are available at the marina site, together with washer and dryer. The Harbour team very friendly and helpful providing a taxi service when the water taxi is not running during the day.

Short term berth/rafting up. Ferry boats ashore. Colne YC nearby, with dinghy dock that dries out at low tide.
