I have visited this place many of times if your looking for complete harmony, peaceful, quiet, then this is the place to anchor overnight or maybe the weekend. There is a deep water very large pool (I call it the Medway lagoon) where are you are protected and movement inside here is very still. As your entering mouth to the anchor point if you look to your right hand side you will see an opening in here is a very large deep water mud pool, i’ve been inside here and seen and stayed with at least 25 boats with Plenty of breathing space between each one of us most times when you visit here there’s three or four boats when you’re lucky just yourself. It is absolutely beautiful picture postcard when the tide is in. When the tide is out you’re surrounded by circle of mudbanks but still with 24-hour access back to the water well worth a stay beautiful bird life. Just a beautiful peaceful place to come on and relax. And all for free mother nature at its best. Please see my pictures with the yellow outline showing safe anchorage in deep water my boat draws 4ft always around 15 foot of water every time I visit.
