Stayed there without any difficulties on three separate evenings over mid July. We were the only boat anchored just off the “beach”. Used a nearby marina’s pontoon to have the dinghy repaired. Incredible to be anchored right in the city!

Pretty protected and cheaper than the marinas. Roland marina is good location close by. If not expensive.

Perfect spot to visit Valletta, Sliema, and even St Julian if you have a bike. There are also many public buses. Good anchorage in +-8m, and close to shore. The maltese call this a beach, but in fact it is rocks. There is a safe swimming aria, and also a shower. I spend 5 nights and had not at all problems with the police.
