Anchored overnight in light North-East winds. Several motor boats with water skiers and wakeboarders, but they left in early evening. Careful anchoring needed to avoid shallow rocky patches. Strong tidal flow lead to rolling overnight. Was worth it for amazing views in the evening and early morning.

For RIBs. Alum bay is lovely. With a shelving beach, can anchor pretty close inshore no matter the tide. Stoney beach can be a pain. The chalk cliffs can act as a suntrap and given the right conditions, with the clear water, you could believe that you're in the Mediterranean, well just. Vistas are beautiful. No protection for South Westerlys, sadly the most prominent wind in the area.

Another great anchor and closer to cliffs this time to avoid pleasure speedboat! Stunning day...😎
