    Spindrift Of Yealm | Sailboat ~ 13 m

A pleasant anchorage along the shore of Babbacombe and Oddicombe. Anchored in 5 metres at low tide approx 100 metres outside the bouyed area. Moorings available if preferred at £20 to stay during the day or £40 to stay overnight. Anchor held well in sand. Stayed overnight with no other boats around. Slight swell but nothing more than expected. A few jet skis and ski boats arrived during the day (Saturday), but all well behaved. Good shelter from south and south westerly winds.

Excellent anchorage with a few public use moorings owned my the Cary Arms, which is a lovely pub. Easy access to get ashore with a harbour wall and floating pontoon. Short (but VERY steep walk up to Babbacombe). Can get busy during the day with motor boats and jet skis etc.
