Appreciable shelter on the North South road, but difficult to sleep with a North West swell. Good anchor hold. Be careful with bundle of ropes at the bottom opposite the castle near the buoys at a depth of 14 m.

I was at anchor in Castiglioncello, precisely to the left of the entrance channel of the old port, 10 meters of seabed and 40 meters of chain. Excellent protection from the mistral which during the day reached 20 knots in gusts and from the north wind which during the night exceeded 20 knots. Sand and mud bottom, excellent tenant

Fondo sabbia e fango ottimo tenitore

Clean water. A little noise from the nearby beaches with music. Presence of many boats. If you are passing through, stop but not the best place for a bay.

Acqua pulita.
