We were only here for one night but found plenty of sand, crystal clear waters and lots of fish. Sorry, we didn't go ashore so do not know where you can land the dinghy.

There is limited sand in the center of the bay. The sea grass has terrible holding. During summer the Coast Guard pushes the sailboats further offshore even further past the swimming bouys, this allows the hundreds of day boats to weave between you to anchor closer in. It is very choppy from 9am through to about 6pm due to the day boat wake, and also the many other boats passing between Palermo heading north. The small town is completely overrun during summer and makes going ashore not pleasant. The small docks in the harbour charged €10 to leave the dinghy for 2 hours. Next time I would skip it and just spend more time in Palermo.

Great anchorage in from of a very busy beach. Open to the North to East with North-West swell still reaching in. It will get VERY busy during the day 10-19h. Good bus access to Palermo from close to the marina where you can leave your dingy on the middle public concrete pier.
