10 feet of water. Straight dinghy onto the beach which is a nature reserve. Lots of starfish, hermit crabs, and horseshoe crabs washed ashore. Took the dog ashore - presumably ok below the high water line. We were the only ones here so it was like a private island. We had initially motored further into the creek because it looked more protected but were quickly inundated with horse flies. This spot is less protected from wind, but fewer flies. In the morning around 3am the wind picked up so we had a light chop.
