Good holding for sure, can be a bit exposed the more westerly and nor’ westerly the wind blows as the fetch increases. Great and easy access to Brownsea on shallow shelving beach. Lovely walks on the island. Can get crowded at lunchtime at summer weekends.

Good holding bit strong tide. Can go round in circles a lot with wind against tide. Can land dinghy at pottery pier West end of island but the pier itself is currently closed, needing repair so landing is best done at high tide. Great walks on the island.
