Cala Sardinera near Xàbia has free access buoys. To spend the night it is better to arrive in the late afternoon (7 pm-8pm) when the motorboats that have gone to spend the day have left. Very protected from the winds of the second and third quadrants.

Lovely, easy access to beach with dinghy bit of a rocky walk. Stayed a week buoys are free. Best to arrive before 9.30 a.m or after 6.30 p.m gets extremely busy weekends. Buoys are inspected every day, Roma Cruz patrol the bay. Great little mobile Mojito bar. Can be unpleasant if sea coming from north. Had 23 knots from South all good. No facilities at all not even a rubbish bin.

A beautiful spot. We spent the night on a bouy here and the area is very well protected. If you arrive towards the end of the day, many of the day boats leave and there are bouys available. Anchoring may be forbidden but no one takes any notice of this rule. It is a very busy spot during the day though and be prepared to accept this, at night though it is very tranquil. Just to note all buoys have a maximum length marked on them of 15 metres.
