    Melisa | Sailboat ~ 15 m

We anchored here in 12m of water 100m from the shallowing sand/mud banks at the end of the delta. The wind was blowing a steady 12knots from the North West creating a steady “chop” coming into the bay. Anchorage was rock solid all night and the wind swung round 180degrees at around 4am - really peaceful anchorage and the views are just stunning. There is a small jetty where the day boats come in - but they didn’t bother us at all and stopped around 6:30pm. Phone signal and data is a bit patchy - but enough to cope!,

    Iduna II | Sailboat ~ 12.84 m

I've added this anchorage because when we went on the dinghy toward the dock, the water near where the other anchorage is, was very shallow. What a lovely bay! We anchored on a 10m contour. We think it is sand and mud because of the rivers running into the sea. At 10m the water is not clear but in the shallow areas it is. Water temperature is 27.8C, lovely for swimming. Both days the wind (gusting 14-18kts in the afternoon) came from W and WSW bringing a slight swell into the bay. It was fine. The water was like glass in the morning. Yes, the breeze comes from NE to E during the night. We explored the delta, past the restaurant, but could go no further (see picture) because of a pipe across the waterway. The restaurant looks good and has mostly great reviews.
