Of the yellow buoys on the south bay there are only one left, in the north there are no more, opted for Crotone behind the dam.

Dei gavitelli gialli sulla baia sud ne sono rimasti solo uno,a nord non ci sono più,optato per Crotone dietro la diga.

Only one buoy right now. Inspected the buoy and chain, found it in good condition. Snorkeling OK, but not great. Do agree with earlier reviews. It would be very easy to loose the anchor in this extremely rocky bottom. And many big boulders right beneath the surface, so be careful. Beautiful and quiet spot .

Arrived mid morning - mid august & only 2 buoys available (free total 10) All taken by day boats! Inspected buoy - all good & well constructed chain to heavy concrete block. Only problem heavy & hard to raise to attach line especially if your boat has high freeboard! Snorkelling pleasant & clear water & realise the reason for mooring field!!! Do not be tempted to drop your anchor as you may kiss it goodbye. SW 11kn not too uncomfortable. Day Boats gone by 6pm only 3 of us overnight. Very pleasant spot if conditions are favourable. On further investigation north of the cape 4 free buoys not as attractive. Pleasant stop.
