This mooring is perhaps not the best since the bottom is seaweed and rocks, so be careful and do not get too close because it goes back quickly, but it certainly does not deserve the severe notes which have been awarded previously. We had a great night in calm weather, while on the other side of the cape the swell was coming back. Wet by 4 or 5 meters in front of the ruins of the ancient Punic city. The visit on land is not possible on this side (barriers)

actually ... little water. it is best to anchor in front of the ruins as close as possible. but there is no sand anywhere ... it's just posidonia on rock. by east wind it is the only "shelter" of the corner. it becomes a little crowded in August. very beautiful environment with magnificent views of the archaeological site of Pula. there is a mini market 30 minutes to Pula. we planned to stay only an hour or two but with 45m of chain in 3 m of water we stayed at night.

Beautiful anchorage, but beware of the houses and towers of the sunken city underneath! Depths suddenly jump to about a metre; make a slow approach and have somebody in the bows for a lookout. Holding not amazing but ok - sea grass and rocks. Lovely local fishermen. Both anchorages in Pula are certainly rolly, sometimes all that helps is a stern anchor to turn her round to meet the swell with the stern.
