    Eurydice | Sailboat ~ 12.5 m

I confirm the good behavior of the seabed, albeit a bit grassy, by 25 knots NE and 4 m deep in front of the large modern government headquarters building. The fetch does not have time to form and therefore very limited choppy water without swell. To do the entry formalities, anchor instead facing the canal and the small bridge, park the annex at the Dinghie Dock restaurant, just to the left before the bridge, which, even when closed, is kind enough to leave its door open onto the street. A priori, that's pretty sure. Customs (CBP) are at the airport, a 15 'walk. During this Covid period, restaurants are all closed and some are take-away. The atmosphere is dreary, but the island is worth a drive (golf or jeep, available near the airport, but they'll bring you back at the end of the day). Rather expensive: 70 euros for the noisy and sluggish golf car ...

Large bay for quiet anchoring. Access to the public pontoon opposite the Dinghy Dock restaurant. Huge sea pike in the shallow depths ... clearance in and cruising access allowed at the airport. We arrived with our estas and passports stamped. No problem. Free. Convenience stores in Dewey.

Aucun souci. Gratuit. Supérettes à Dewey.

Great holding, safe anchorage even in strong winds . Short ride to restaurants or town pier. Also take your dingy through the little creek to the west side of the island and snorkel in crystal clear waters teeming with life. Marine park though so look , but don’t touch or take. This island is a gem.
