Anchored close to town, dinghy can attach right to concrete dock. There’s buoy markers to the right that keep boats at a distance from the beach so all the boats stack in close. Good protection from East/North-East winds but strong gusts created a boat next to us to drag during a brief lightening storm a few km away. WARNING: a naked man boarded our boat at 3 am, when confronted he and his friend swimming said he was skinny dipping/swimming from beach, spoke in English and were talking quite load. We were later told this happened to another boat here but the guys were trying to steal the dingy so naked was a good cover story if they got caught. Lock your dinghy and paddle boards.

Amazing to be able to anchor so close to the old town which is all lit up at night and so beautiful. But it is very exposed to the north and can get quite rolly, even in a catamaran. Dinghy to shore you go behind the old wall and either pull up on the beach or tie up on the wall and you are right at the bottom of the old town. The other anchorage near the marina is much calmer but not as spectacular.

Very nice view of the city especially in the evening with the mountain which is all lit up !! Very good bottom, just a little roller to sleep well.

Très belle vue de la ville surtout en soirée avec le mont qui est tout éclairé !! Très bon fond, juste un peu rouleur pour bien dormir..
