beware of many slippages because of the algae (even with a lot of chain, for us 60 m of chain for 10 m of bottom) and impressive roll with the passage of the ferries. for the positive, beautiful sunset, the bay illuminated at night is magical and the music of the mambo did not bother us more than that, or even we liked it (even if it is not our age) easy access to the city 2 pontoons for the annexes.well on the whole except that the anchorage is very unsafe.

Only for good weather... otherwise be careful !!! Because the ground is full with heavy posidonia and no holding... more than 20-25 kn all the boats around us start to drift.. and fast ,one boat end in the rocks and the others run to the marina in the middle of the night... when the wind go up to 40 kn even we start drifting... we dropped 65 m chain (12 mm) + 38 kg Mantus anchor ...

What we expected of San Antiono- loud music and lots of people high! To be fair we actually enjoyed this anchorage, just next to the famous Mambo Cafe where crowds gather each night to watch the sunset. Loud music is over by 12pm when everyone moves onto the clubs in town. Holding reportedly not good but we put out lots of chain and we didn’t move and even left the boat to go ashore. Marina is also handy for filling with water though they charged €15 per 30mins.
