Spent the night on the floating pontoon, wind blew hard all night but Dock cleats held. Good stop for the night if mid passage

Stayed 2 nights, on the deep water pontoon. Good first day, changed to northerlies at 25kts overnight so pontoon not ideal as side on. Very choppy. Went in with dinghy to village and had lunch at The Griffin. Public toilets open. Village store shut but can get basics in cafe (bread/milk). A beautiful popular location. Worth a visit

Managed to get on to the deep water pontoon. Many craft moored up all over, plenty mooring balls or space for anchor. When going in to Dale, leave dinghy left hand side pontoon as right dries out very quickly! Good to see so many people out and about supporting local businesses. Well worth a day or two stop over, very pretty.
