tricky to get into if your draft is over 4 feet. the best way to access is to go as close to the north shore as possible in the bay and then come back south to the protected beach after clearing the Sand bar. Because of its proximity to the airforce base the GPS has no data. You have to rely on satellite images of the sandbar bars and visuals. Best if you arrive during daylight hours as at night it can be tricky. A wonderful place to anchor and enjoy pristine white sand beaches in virtual solitude.
