There is space to anchor close to the beach/rocks—good holding on 5m. I grabbed a mooring buoy on the second day as we got 38knos of N wind. There is no space close to the fishing boats, but there are two good morning buoys (one white and one orange) closer to the beach/rocks. The owner came in the second day to ask for money, but he let us stay for free after some talk. If you stay more than one night in the morning, they will come to your boat. A second guy came to our boat asking if we had the owner permission to stay there, and he just believed in us after calling the owner of the mooring. As good Portuguese, none of them was friendly at the start.

Nice anchorage, unfortunately very easy to roll even in calm weather. The area most sheltered from the swell is filled with (private) buoys. Beware of traps that can drag between the buoys ... a water bottle acts as a float. A pontoon makes it easy to dock and access the village and walks on the cliffs. There is a diesel pump in the port, ask the fishermen to access it.

Very rock and rolly. I would not recommend anchoring here as there is little space for swinging, best to pick up a mooring ball or find another option.
