This is a fairly unprotected anchorage, but the holding is good and it’s very easy to get ashore. We docked our dinghy in Darsena 2 in the marina which gave us easy access to Mercadona and 2 chandleries. We would advise not leaving the dinghy unattended as there have been a number of reports of thefts of bicycles and outboards (even those locked up). The marina staff are helpful and obliging.

Good holding on sand. We anchored in 5 meters to rest in NE / E F6/7. A bit rolly but ok.

We spend one night at anchor here at 5m with a sandy bottom. It is a very open bay so it is not well protected from the southwest but in calm weather you can even withstand the sea well if it is not very strong. We did not go ashore but I guess it's easy to get to the Almerimar Marina with the dingy.
