Anchor in the anchor box at the far end of the moorings or off Trebah or Grebe beaches in northerlies. Bosayne and Padgagarrick coves on the south shore offer good holding and shelter in winds with a southerly component. There is no anchoring west of the yellow special marks as far as Groyne Point or in the eelgrass beds off Porth Sawsen by the river mouth which are marked with signed buoys. Anchoring here is free.
