It’s a great town and good mooring buoys but I’m giving it a 3 star only because of the prices! £25 on a swinging mooring in late September. No recycling at that price either.

Great place to stay, only visitors bouys available, rafting up at busy times.

Having had a bad night here on a mooring ball at Penleath Point. We needed to stop here on our way to Falmouth we had some trepidation.. This time we were able to get onto a pontoon (#2) I’m pleased to say had a much more relaxed night. Fowey itself doesn’t offer much in way of choices from places to eat out, but is pretty & quaint for a day wandering around.
