As said before, it’s mainly dense seaweed and you have to get close to the shore for sand. Pretty good holding if you get your anchor in. We held in 27knts using a rocna, but our friends dragged. Easy beach populated by intermittent goats and an angry man who lives adjacent to the beach.

You have to work your way close to the beach to get shallower water with sandy patches in the weed. Farther out the holding is not so good in thick weed. This is an ideal lunch spot in the right conditions and we spent a calm night here too. But beware of strong southerlies blowing up the channel. Enjoy watching the goats come down the cliff to forage on the lovely beach that is inaccessible by land.
