As others have said, excellent anchorage in the NW corner where a lots of boats can be accommodated. Good holding in mud. Not a place for snorkeling because the run off from the land literally muddies the water, but great for paddle boarding or kayaking. A lot of tripper boats during the day, but peaceful at night.

This is a very safe area for anchor. We stayed there 2 nights in November2020. First night we had 30knots wind, rain and really bad weather. But all was so good. Mud kept our anchor perfectly safe. I checked 6 times at that time and we didn't move a centimeter. Water was cold and not so clear. It was I think just a coincidence.

We found good holding in mud at a very shallow 2.5m. although there are many other spots to stay (with more draft), we chose to be close to the creek, that had fewer boats. The area is very well protected, and other than a twice daily swing, we experienced no weather whatsoever. There are no services here, but a twenty minute walk will take you from the cove to the Smugglers Inn, where you can get a beer and a little meze.
