Pretty little bay. Popular with day-boats (they clear off later in the evening). Even though the bay is sheltered from the westerly winds, you still get a lot of swell from day-boats and passing traffic in/out of Dubrovnik harbour - making it somewhat uncomfortable especially if your boat is side on to incoming swell. Even at night when winds dropped completely and traffic slowed down considerably, the swell continued into the bay - now you'd wish there was some wind blowing into the bay to at least point the hull into swell. The night was at times uncomfortable, but we managed to get some sleep. There is a small town harbour wall that serves a small local passenger ferry and tourists boats - they probably won't like it if you anchor in direct access to the quay. The restaurant/bar by the quay looked open, but dead. The hotel Calamata was also dead/shut - it has its own quay, and it looks like it can accept up to four boats stern-to. Anchorage in sand (if you find a spot during the day... But you can always reanchor once day-boats have left). Beautiful clear water.

Small charming port. Anchorage in 10 m depth on sand. Very well protected from the west. Some passages of the ferry.

Petit port charmant. Mouillage dans 10 m de profondeur sur du sable. Très bien protégé de l'ouest. Quelques passages du ferry.

Good anchorage but the chop is not easy to sleep. Clear water.

Bon mouillage mais le clapot n’est pas de tout repos pour trouver le sommeil. Eau claire.
