Very rolly and extreme gusts of 40 kn in the center of the bay, but good holding in sand. The well protected corner in the NE side of the bay north of the moorings has a foul ground together with seagrass. We tried to set anchor 3 times (didn’t set each time because we caught a plastic sack, then a piece of demolition waste and lastly a big sunken branch of a tree), hence we moved to the center of the bay.

Easy huge anchorage, lots of starfish and sea turtles. The locals are very welcoming, the vegetable “market” has the best fruit and veg we’ve had in SVG. John Marine Services and Marcus Marine Services are both great and can deliver water to the boat. Stop for a beer at Foxy’s bar right on the beach by the dock - he’s a great guy.

By general easterly wind of 20 knots, we have here from the West (!) In gusts at 20 knots too. The tide is turning quite well. But the bottom hangs well near the paid buoys. The bottoms are less than 5 m. The swell is very practicable but it must depend on the general direction of the wind.
