Light winds and dense fog made A Guarda a very welcome overnight anchorage on our way south to Porto. Decent swing room for our 13.5m, in 4m. Drumming bands played until midnight for the Festo do Monte, but we could see nothing through the mist!

not much room to drop anchor, it rolls a bit, medium protection. Center quickly accessible in annex, small friendly town, all shops nearby

pas beaucoup de place pour jeter l'ancre, ça roule un peu, protection moyenne. Centre accessible rapidement en annexe, petite ville sympathique, tous commerces à proximité

Not much room to swing (we’re 11meters) and the offlaying rocks make it difficult to find a good spot. We tried anchoring here but didn’t felt safe as the anchor sounded like it was dregging between rocks. Would not recomment unless in very fair weather.
