Very beautiful setting, green. Good hold of the anchor in moderate wind. The site and current effects keep the boats running but very good protection from easterly winds. The water is not pretty and smells of maceration. Nice place, a pontoon north west of the marina allows you to easily leave the annex in the evening (at least). Not too much motor boat traffic, but an event boat that hosts weekend parties. Their rum was good though;)

Good and we'll protected anchorage. It's is close to Francois which is just a small dinghy ride away. Beautiful surroundings! However, the water has poor visibility, some wind eddies and current makes the boat go all over the place and there are tons of power boats running through the canal constantly. At last, our anchor slipped during a powerful gust hitting the island during a tropical wave. Root cause has not yet been identified, but we were far out where the mud was likely more soft. Anyway, and as always, make sure your anchor is well set.

Good protection from waves and wind, at least if you seek further in. A lot of power boats make it a bit busy and bumpy. The wind and currents make the boats spin around a lot, so good spacing is required. There are two moorings available, talk to the permanent catamaran. We were here in 40kt winds. One boat dragged and we were close to bumping into another one due to the strange winds and currents competing around the corners of the island. Very brownish water with no visibility. Carrefour and Leader price a dinghy ride away, but make it on a quiet day as the spray is bad on the way back due to the chop. Had some excellent tuna at the Kai Nono restaurant.
