This harbour provides excellent protection from the prevailing northerly winds. We entered with a 30kn NE’ly. On the crossing from Thassos there was a 3m swell and 1m wind wave. Once inside the harbour and beam to on the NE/SW quay we barely moved. The ferries enter and exit very slowly and create minimal wake. Water depth all along the quay is 6-7m. Power and water points function, phone +306972245603 to get connected, but they are very spread out and you may need a long cable to connect. NB: There is a flat charge of Euro15 for power AND Euro15 for water! Mooring fees, 24-26 September 2018, were Euro16 for a 13.6m (45ft) yacht. NB: It appears that boats are only charged mooring fees if they register with the Coastguard. As an Australian flagged yacht we have to (are meant to) get our transit log stamped at each port. None of the EU flagged yachts checked in with the Coastguard and therefore paid no mooring fees!
