Anchored on north of Karathona bay in 6-8 m, sandy bottom with good holding. Make sure you’re anchored well outside the swimming buoys, and avoid submarine cables. A little swelly at night. Moored tender in fishing harbour in N of bay, and walked into Nafplio. Lovely shaded shoreline walk, 40 mins to Arvanitia Beach, then another 10 mins into town (definitely not a 20 min walk!) Noticed various tavernas ashore but didn’t visit them. And yes, there was a lot of loud music from shore at times, but tolerable, didn’t keep us awake
