This Anchorage is tenable only in calm conditions. Ashore by dinghy is easy on a sandy beach, although at low water there is a considerable distance to drag the dinghy. There are plenty of picturesque walks once ashore. A walk of around a mile takes you to the Kingarth Hotel which serves excellent bar food.
