One of our favourite anchorages from between Lagos and Cadiz. Good protection from easterly winds and swell and very good holding. The anchorage is fairly narrow with rocks on both North and South sides but plenty of swing room with 50m of chain out, when anticipating high winds. Dinghy can be left tied up to a hook or on the beach behind the small boats. A Supersol supermarket and laundry are within 5 minutes walking distance of the beach. Lots of day boats arrive on the weekend but seem to know the anchorage well. Fantastic water for jumping off the boat for a cool off and a great bridge jump in the bay. Just watch for westerly winds and swell as it'll be an uncomfortable night. Highly recommended.
