    We anchored in 6-8m on sand with great holding in a 1m easterly swell. With a stern anchor it was ok. I imagine even with no swell it would still roll with big ships wake in the Straight, so if you stay here I suggest a stern anchor would take most of the roll away. Jetskis and motor boats galore during the day using the boat as a turning buoy - I'd suggest going as close as you can to the beach to avoid some of this. Yellow swimming buoys are few and far between.
