Very nice and quiet anchor bay and well protected, almost no other boats at this time of year, otherwise pretty well attended. We like to come here. Place can be reached easily with the dinghy. CAUTION: At the height of the church in the direction of the shipyard, there is a heavy mooring chain across the bay at a depth of about 6.5m. So difficult and tense that we could not get out without diving support (the diver was aware of the situation). There are also supposed to be mooring chains near the fish farm. ATTENTION: avoid anchoring between church and boatyard as there is a very heavy mooring chain lying on the ground at 6.5m depth and there may be others near the fish farm, we were told by the diver we had to call to free up our anchor.

ATTENTION: avoid anchoring between church and boatyard as there is a very heavy mooringchain lying on the ground at 6.5m depth and there may be others near the fish farm, we were told by the diver we had to call to free up our anchor.

We spent 15 days here from August 17th to September 01st. Top of the line, the nights are very calm, we think we are in the port, it is so peaceful. Anchor between 8m and 11m on mud, sheltered from 95% of all winds and swells, great. You can disembark in the dinghy from all sides, there are pontoons all around. Perfect starting point for the Cinque Terres, Portovenere, Lerici. Bar, restaurant, laundromat and small shops in front of the quays. We couldn't go to the port to fill up with water, but plenty of water points everywhere if you have jerry cans.

Super sheltered anchorage (no more swell when there is still some in the bay of Porto Venere!). Possibility of letting a strong gust of south-east or west wind pass there without any problem! Mud base but good hold. Best anchorage in the region to visit the 5 lands !!
