We anchored here for a night before heading into the marina the next morning to explore Rome. Huge, well protected anchorage. We anchored in 4 meters in mud/sand. Great holding. We took the dinghy ashore to walk the dog, otherwise you wouldn’t really want to go ashore. It’s not a pretty spot but we saved a night in the marina! As of 5/18 no sign of the proposed new marina, just a wide open anchorage.

Such a welcome anchorage after a strong blow forced us to find shelter. Anchor set well in mud I 4.5m and we stayed two nights. Not attractive and nothing to see, but we had the place to ourselves.
