Very well protected bay. Water depth and hold in the sand very good. I sat strong west up to 40 knots for 3 nights. no problem. No stones seen. No waves to speak of because of the ferries. Great kite and surf area. Dog beach.

Sehr gut geschütze Bucht. Wassertiefe und Halt im Sand sehr gut.Haben 3 Nächte starken West bis 40 Knoten, ausgesessen. kein Problem. Keine Steine gesehen. Keine nennenswerte Wellen aufgrund der Fähren. Tolles Kite und Surf Revier. Hundestrand.

We stayed here for an afternoon and a night. Very good hold in the sand (30kn at 2 am, and we did not move. 20mn bike ride to Olbia. If you disembark at the sailing center pontoon north of the bay. You have to go around the center of the sail to the left on the beach when the gate is closed.

Lots of space for anchoring on sand patches between the weed. However beware of submerged Rocks at the NE end of Punta Saline. We hit one not marked in the Navionics charts in about 1.80 m depth.
