Moored stern to in southern part of harbour. Mud and weed. Use plenty of chain -some boats dragged when we were there or couldn’t get their anchor to hold. Good protection from West and North west but some swell in NE wind. Room for about 20 visiting boats but plenty of room even in August. Only 4 power points on 2 blue posts. Very pleasant place with good shops and plenty of tavernas.

Nice small harbor, lovely town with supermarkets, restaurants, a beach. The harbor is not free but price is low - port services guy showed up to collect it, 6 euro for our boat but he didn’t ask for LOA or documents, I suppose it’s a fixed price. He gave us a business card and receipt for the money - Vassilis Moschonas, tel. 0030 6977 620 698. There are two blue outlets for water and electricity but we couldn’t reach them from where we were directed to moor - you need very long cable/hose. The port police office in Lixouri doesn’t work so we had to go to neighboring town, Argostolion, to do paperwork, as we were entering from Italy.

Small harbor without sewer odors. No mass tourism. Free water and electricity. Mooring at the dock. Be careful enough windy. Do not rely on English boats, they know the good plans and are already out of Europe.

Petit port sans odeurs d'égouts. Pas de tourisme de masse. Eau et électricité gratuites. Amarrage cul a quai. Attention assez venté. Ne pas compter sur les bateaux anglais, ils connaissent les bon plans et sont déjà hors de l'Europe.
