Great place to moor for a couple of months. Noel, the marina owner, is a friendly Dutchman who is always ready to help you. There were some pros and cons. But overall this is just the place you need after a long passage to recuperate. It’s not cheap. But as I say: better expensive than for sale. There are monkeys and sloths kayman’s birds and piranhas. Welcome to paradise. (Update) After two months in the marina and three days before our departure. I agreed my departure date with Noel, the marina owner. Two days before departure suddenly I had to move my ship because the marina was overbooked. Understandable. But the 3,5 knot current was pushing me in the box. And with my long keel it’s close to impossible and for sure unsafe to move out of my box with the current pushing me towards 5 ships next to me. I asked noel if we could wait until slack tide. Noel said he would cut my ropes. I've heard similar stories. Maybe one day Noel is your great friend. But when a bigger ship arrives he can make more money off, he might suddenly cut your mooring ropes. Noel likes big ships with endless budgets, which make him more money. Be prepared to be sent away when a bigger ship than yours arrives. All the cast you can always find in Domburg moorings. Where they actually have a shower. And a pool. Just saying. So approach this man with care. And enjoy your time in paradise. Even including the threat of cutting my ropes, I would not skip this place. Update 2: just spoke to the crew of a different ship. Noel (waterland marina owner) came after these people with two muscle guys armed with guns. Over some insignificant issue they were held to gunpoint by these friends of Noel.

We had a great time at this place. Everyday a swim, even when there is current. It's very safe to leave your boat here while going for a trip with your rentalcar provided by the local rental. Even when going away for several days it's good to know your boat is safe. The pricing is fair. It's very convenient to keep your rentalcar, you may choose to share with other cruisers although it's already very cheap.

Great marina. Amazing spot. We are very happy with the fresh water available on the pontoon. Noël and his people are really nice and helpful.
