Excellent natural bay with very small inlet. The holding is great if you pick areas with sand otherwise there lots of weeded areas and holding not as good. Most of the boats anchor and go stern-to the shore as you have deep water very close to the shore. You can buy some fish from the local and very nice fisherman that would come to the boat in his boat if you call him.

Very big bay, lots of space for line-to-shore or swing anchorage. We dropped 1 free anchor in the middle of the bay at 17 m. Good holding. We had a quiet night, no waves, no noise. Very weak internet/telecom signal.

Back again, eight days from our last visit. We targeted an arrival time for around 1pm, from across the bay from Çökertme. We dropped anchor and put lines ashore on the northern edge of the cove and at probably the most eastern point you would want to be. The cove already had five yachts in position, so dropping in to the outer edge was simple. The majority of sailors and yachtees are fairly respectful of others, but you do get the odd idiots unfortunately who try to fit into space that just doesn’t exist - this little gem seems to attract them - so be prepared to repel boarders! Beautiful bay, but unfortunately I think the days of being the only yacht in are over 😢
