My 29 foot boat was hard to moor on the middle fore and aft mooring as the bouys were too far apart with a cross wind. Managed with help of French skipper on outer mooring though.

Lovely harbour but the trot moorings (fore and aft) are too close for anything over 37ft. We are 43ft and another 40ft took up the moorings in front of us. We came back to find their anchor impacting our bow. Some damage done but fortunately we were able to move their boat before much more was done.

There are 3 spaces in the outer harbour, with fore and aft pickups. Space is tight our 42ft yacht just about fits. Don’t be put off by how close the rocks are to the mooring buoys as there is plenty of water. Anything with east in it don’t bother trying. I have seen yachts anchor outside, but can’t comment of the quality of the holding.
