Anchored in the bay. Had a quiet night. Didn’t go into town this time.

An anchorage that is safer than it looks. But two swimming areas have been roped off so the protected space is reduced. We have found the holding to be a little suspect - great for a lunch stop or overnight in reasonable weather. There is a risk of dragging in the mixture of sand and weed if the wind gets strong

Known as Monastery Bay. It's a good place to stop for a swim and also if you have a good tender for getting into town. May get briefly crowded with the Neilson Flotilla boats on Mondays.
