    YAMAS | Sailboat ~ 16 m

Very nice anchorage, near the "town" of Sivota and its many shops and tavernas. I love the view towards the ruins of the old monastery at sunset .... The anchor hooked well at 9m. Not many boats in this place today ....

Très chouette mouillage , à proximité de la "ville" de Sivota et de ses nombreux commerces et tavernas. J'aime la vue vers les ruines du vieux monastère au soleil couchant.... L'ancre a bien croché à 9m. Pas beaucoup de bateaux à cette place aujourd'hui....

You can’t anchor in the bay; it’s buoyed off for swimmers. You can anchor just outside the swimming area but leave enough room to swing because the winds can be quite variable here. The holding is good particularly if you can get into the sandy patches. Protection from the prevailing winds and swell is better than you might think. It's a short trip by dinghy to the town with two moderate “supermarkets”.

nice area we just can not go to the beaches at a distance of 400 meters because there are swimmers and the beach is closed with protective balloons and we can not moor.
