We are anchored in Tarifa west but asked the maritime police about using the dock here. They said not for tourism I.e. pleasure boats but if you need boat repairs or get stuck with bad weather and don’t feel safe moving to la línea or barbate they will allow you to tie to the pier. No price given. Not a good option for transient cruiser unless you have “maritime emergency”.

At the dock, be careful to leave the first half of the platform reserved for safety. Go to the customs to go out in town. Reception and very friendly assistance by the local police for taking the dock.
A quai, attention à laisser libre la première moitié du quai réservé à la sécurité. Passer à la douane pour sortir en ville. Accueil et assistance très sympa par la police locale pour la prise de quai.
