Great alternative to pontoons in Tarbert. I've anchored a few times, never had an issue with holding. Bottom seems quite free of weed. Shoals rapidly, so generally anchoring in about 6 or 7 meters. Best spot seems to be North East of the small river that runs out in South West corner of the bay.
