We chased in a gust of 45 knots, probably because of the debris we brought with the anchor and which prevented it from sinking normally. The anchorage at the entrance to the port is much better.

On a chassé sous une rafale à 45 noeuds sans doute en raison des détritus qu’on a ramené avec l’ancre et qui l’ont empêché de s’enfoncer normalement . La tenue du mouillage a l’entrée du port est bien meilleure .

Well protected anchorage, good holding and conveniently located close to the marina, the centre and shops. With southerly winds, much less swell than at the anchorage closer to sea. However, the area seems to be infested with rats. They use the chain or rope to climb on board. Happened to us and at least two other boats while we were there, so better keep your hatches closed.

A well protected anchorage although as can be expected in a working harbour wash is generated as fishing boats pass by at certain times of the day. The holding is good and you can leave the dinghy at a pontoon located at the smaller of the boatyard hoist bays. A Lidl supermarket is a short walk from the boatyard.
