Beautiful city with empty anchorage. Sand bottom with good holding. Outrageous Bora wind from the mountains all night. No sleep. I wouldn’t recommend unless weather is settled.

We found a free mooring buoy. We where never contacted by anyone and didn’t pay anything. Very cosy beautiful old town. A lot tourist attractions and restaurants. We did the Zip Line. It was very fun and worth the 400 kn. You Can do a lot of other things like riverrafting and so. Be aware of the entrance to the river. Keep on the southeast side. We hit the ground on the way out at the West side of the entrance to the river. Sandy bottom but under 2 meter without any markings.

Omis is the hidden gem you have been looking for. We anchored for three nights in 18m of water. Got smoked by a Bura one night but overall it's worth it. No other boats and such a beautiful town especially if you're into mountain or water sports
