Wide bay, our anchor point was 7 meters, sand and posidonia. Upon arrival in the late afternoon of 24.8. There was a slight mistral that moves the waters. After absolute calm, restful sleep.

Ampia baia, il punto di fonda nostro era su 7 metri, sabbia e posidonia. All’arrivo nel tardo pomeriggio del 24.8. C’era un leggero maestrale che muove le acque. Dopo calma assoluta, sonni tranquilli.

We anchored here when the NW winds made the town quay too uncomfortable. It was still a bit rolly but better than the dock. Be sure to swim over your anchor. There are many patches that look like sand but are in fact flat and craggy rocks. Very pleasant when the wind dies down.

This was so far the most beautiful anchorage we had. Very quiet. The seabed offers good holding. It‘s sand, some rocks and sea grass. The city nearby is very nice. You can get all the groceries and there's also a bank. Water is on the tall city quay (not the marina). We paid 7€ for 400 l. If you have the time, visit the old Turkish fortress.
