    Red buoys belonging to the restaurant. Very helpful. Mooring aid

    There are 17 buoys. 9 red ones from the Ilias tavern and 8 white ones from the Kalidonis tavern. As already described, you can reserve a buoy in advance. Especially z. B. on Thursdays. There are a number of charter yachts that have to return to KOS on Fridays. Climbing tours can be started from the bay.

    Es gibt 17 Bojen. 9 rote der Taverne Ilias, sowie 8 weiße der Taverne Kalidonis. Wie schon beschrieben, kann man eine Boje vorab reservieren. Besonders z. B. an Donnerstagen. Da sind etliche Charteryachten da, die Freitags nach KOS zurück müssen. Von der Bucht aus kann man zu Klettertouren starten.

    Pick a mooring buoy, just check it is not reserved which then would have a fender with the word RESERVED written on it. Beach is medium size pebbles. Not much swell or rolling, slept well. On shore two tavernas and one beach bar. Lovely old style.
